The post shares new details about the engineering prototype of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, and it builds on several leaks that have surfaced over the past few months. Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Specifications (Expected) According to the leak, the prototype uses a custom flat display with large rounded corners and narrow, evenly sized bezels on all four sides. This is consistent with earlier reports pointing to a 6.9-inch 2K OLED screen for the device, paired with a 2nm-based Snapdragon chip. The camera setup is said to include a 200MP main sensor with LOFIC technology — the latter improves dynamic range in difficult lighting — and a second 200MP sensor for telephoto and macro shots. This matches an earlier report that tipped a dual 200MP camera system on the same device, with the telephoto lens offering roughly 3x zoom. Xiaomi 17 Pro Max As for the battery, the insider suggests a capacity of “8K++,” meaning the cell will be above 8,000mAh. To be more specific, a previous leak revealed the capacity to be 8,500 mAh . Charging is expected to cap at 100W for wired and likely 50W wireless support. The post also mentions dual speakers and a larger haptic motor. One exchange in the comments section is worth noting.
